I have ordered a glass at the beginning of December. It hasn’t been delivered and chasing for a refund for the last 2 months. They’ve asked me to check with the bank as they have sent the refund. Lie. Shame. It seems like they have nice products but will never buy anything from them anymore.

Terrible company, we ordered one picture in November. It didn't show up so we were advised it had got lost in the post. So they agreed to send out another free of charge in December, were now the 2nd week into January and still no item? This was ment as a Christmas gift. Weve sent them yet another email and weve just get the exact same response (word for word) as we did the 1st time We have asked for a full refund, we'll see if that happens! AVOID AVOID AVOID

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering or checking they had a customer service that could be contacted I spent £40 on a personalised Birthday Book and because of not making clear what dates were required when ordering the wrong dates were put in the book. Common sense should have told the person writing the book the dates could not be correct and did not contact me to check the dates. I have used this company twice now and have nothing but positive things to say about them. They kept me regularly updated about my order and they both arrived in good time. So pleased with both of the pictures, they have come out so well. Would definitely use again. A very happy customer ?

1 star is too generous for this company. Happily take your money & sit on it for weeks and then days before Xmas let you know order has been cancelled but they’ve been really good & refunded your money... disgusting service - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I am so angry with this company. I placed an order mid November for a Christmas present. I got an email end of November saying it had been dispatched and should be with me in 2-3 days. It never appeared. I emailed them and was told wait 10 working days. I waited and emailed them again, there was a problem at the manufacturers and it hadn't been sent and it would be sent start of this week (w/c 14/12/20). I didn't get a dispatched email so emailed them again. Get told it would be sent the end of the week. So I sent a ranting email as getting a bit close to Christmas and frankly the story keeps changing so what is the truth! Get an email back saying item is out of stock and it will be back in two weeks, but understand I'm frustrated so here's 10% of next order! NEXT ORDER! Seriously!!!! I haven't been told the truth yet and clearly I'm never going to see this item, certainly not before Christmas and now I'm probably going to have to chase them for the refund. Yes I ranted more at them but their emails are so infuriating.So if anyone is daft enough to use this company - here's the 10% code, but don't be surprised if your item never arrives!CSTEN2018Absolutely the worse service I've ever had. If the item was out of stock why was I allowed to order it - and why not just say that in the beginning so I had time to go elsewhere and actually get the christmas present I needed to get?! Now I'm paying twice for this present (as presuming the refund will take forever as clearly this company doesn't believe in customer service) in a year where money is tight. Nice one Getting Personal, and stop sending me your junk emails as hell will freeze over before I use you again after this!

I had an issue with my order which could have impacted on my Christmas gifts. When I realised there was an issue, I got straight onto the chat help line where a fantastic lady dealt with things with courtesy and understanding. I now have perfect gifts thanks to the fantastic customer service at Getting Personal. It appears you saved Christmas! ?

I ordered a 80th birthday gift yesterday and when I went through checkout, a message flashed up with an error transaction. I checked my bank account and payment has been taken, but I’ve had no email confirming the order has gone through. As there is no easy way of contacting the company at the moment, my son messaged them last night on Twitter and they answered this morning to ask for email/postcode details etc, which were provided, but no response since. I’ve paid for fast delivery but now have no idea if my order is being prepared or not and if the 80 year old birthday boy is going to be let down by not receiving a gift. We have asked for a refund if the order can not be honoured in the time scale promised when we placed the order. Naturally Covid is disrupting companies and we are sympathetic to that, but communication is key and no company should take payment if they can’t confirm an order. Really hope I get a response soon. This is my first experience with this company and it’s worrying to see so many poor reviews.

Absolutely disgusted!!! Ordered a Diwali card and last three days before Diwali and it’s arriving a week late even after I paid for premium postage plus the site said it would arrive on time. Complained through webchat only to be disconnected!!! Then sent a message via email and recieved a reply offering postage refund....... very comical Diwali was last week. Tried replying to the email and it bounced back. Not happy at all I should of been totally refunded

Bought a personalised 2021 calendar for my father. As we’re all recently bereaved, having lost my Mum, I wanted to get him something special. At the end of the order was an optional add-on of a “box” of Milk Tray for £4.99. Okay, Dad likes chocolate, so I thought it’d be a nice extra. I was gob-smacked to learn there were SEVEN chocolates in the box. I could buy a tin of Roses or Quality Street for around £5. The calendar wasn’t that cheap - £17.99...but hey ho, Dad’s worth it. But charging £5 for 7 chocolates is extortion. And it may have the weight/info on the advert, but this is classed as an “Impulse Buy”. And impulses are, by nature, carried out on the spur of the moment. I would not recommend this company. They’re preying on the generosity of customers and it’s rotten of them.

I ordered a diary and a football on this day book and I ordered them both about 3 days ago and they both came in the post today and yesterday. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the diary however the football book has scratches all on the front which I am not impressed with. They are large scratches and are very obvious which is very disappointing. However the rest of the book is great.

Can not fault this company! They make some lovely personalised gifts. I’m always impressed by the craftsmanship of all the personalised engravings. I’ve ordered glasses that have been engraved, personalised mouse mats/coasters, wine boxes and they all have made fantastic gifts. Gifts have always arrived quickly and have never got lost.Where there have been any issues with the quality of finish of the product (albeit these are infrequent) they have never quibbled and have always gone above and beyond to replace any faults by sending out a replacement in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend for any gifts that you would like to add the special personalised touch. Thank you!
